Biologic Behaviour

•oral OSA is rare in cats and accounts for 2.4% of all oral tumors

•median age 12 years (but as young as 3 months has been reported)

•site predilection: 78% (7/9) maxilla and 22% (2/9) mandible

•surgical treatment: mandibulectomy and maxillectomy
